Took a trip out to BSS with Cambria, Zeke, and DashingFlamingos this afternoon because we apparently hadn't seen enough snow in our area. I personally don't like BSS at all, but Cambria had never been, and everyone has to visit at least once. We showed her the only building even half worth visiting, the auditorium, and then headed out for some food. A fun little trip, with some pretty chill people.
I'm sorry for the shitty photos. I can never shoot this fucking place for some reason.

Inside The IWAY - Video
A video I edited together using clips taken by Clahhhkie and myself. I like to call it Clahhhkie's Surprise. This video was shot at the asscrack of dawn on ClimbingDoug's 22nd birthday. Hope you had a good time man. Here's to future birthdays.

Braga 'Bout It
After a successful semi-active infiltration of a pristine, untouched virgin location with ClimbingDoug and RyanXPromise, Doug and I decided to hit one more location before calling it a night. We decided to go big, since we weren't ready to go home yet. I've been wanting to climb this bridge for almost 15 years, but never got around to it for one reason or another. Recently, I heard there were motion sensors on the catwalk under the bridge, just above the cove. This made sense, because of the important ships located in the cove, so we didn't want to approach it that way.
We decided to have abandonedNH drop us off on the bridge surface when there was no traffic around, since there was no cover to walk the half mile to the center, where we needed to be for the climb. The drop off was a success, and soon Doug and I were on the center of the bridge, making our way to the catwalk well past the motion sensors. A brief walk down the catwalk, a short climb up a few girders, and we were standing on the top taking in the foggy view.
Not my best photos, but I was freezing my balls off and it was windy as hell up there.

BRM-Shit!
Early morning rolled around, and Cambria had just gotten out of work. It was ClimbingDoug's birthday still, so we decided to hit BRMC. This building shows up on the Abandoned Dreams websites every winter, because it's fully powered and heated. Always a nice escape from the cold air outside.
This time upon arrival, Clahhhkie and I immediately noticed new construction materials scattered throughout the lobby, but decided to continue on anyways. After about 10 minutes of looking out every window we passed to see if anyone had seen us enter and the mood began to relax. Hushed voices spoke in regular tone now. Then, while photographing some patient artwork hanging in one room, I saw a security truck pull up to where we'd entered. He stopped for a minute and then continued on slowly. When I saw him loop back again within the minute, I knew something was wrong. We decided to continue on and see the morgue before taking off.
We got to the basement, where the morgue is, only to hear a cough and multiple voices, just a floor or two above us. Shit. We waited until we could hear no one, and busted ass quietly up the stairs and back toward our entrance. Just as I rounded the corner into the lobby, I noticed two security vehicles sitting next to the door we came in, now sitting ajar. I pushed everyone else back and we hurried back to another entrance I knew of, which had 3 feet of snow piled against it from the outside. Luckily, it opened without too much force or noise and we bolted into the active portion of the parking lot and blended in until we reached the car. Way too close of a call for such a modern hospital.
We left, went for breakfast, and returned to find the security trucks still there and the door still open. They were definitely inside looking for us, but we were sitting a hundred feet away, in the warmth of Clahhhkie's car laughing at their efforts. Better luck next time guys.

Birthday Beginnings
Clahhhkie, ClimbingDoug, and I got together around 1AM to start Doug's birthday off right. Decided to head to Providence and play in some old friends. First stop, the underside of the Washington Bridge.
Stopped by India Point Park to play on the jungle gym and I spotted this lonely tree. I liked it.
Finished up our night in Providence with a leisurely stroll trough the IWAY. Both Clahhhkie and I shot video of this too, which I'll upload once they're edited together into one.

Tunnel Rats
The East Side Rail Tunnel has become kind of an Abandoned Dreams refuge this winter, due to the locations warm underground temperatures. I personally find that kind of amusing because before last year, this tunnel was welded shut and entry eluded me for years. To be able to enter the tunnel at my leisure now is still kind of surreal, but I plan to take full advantage of it.
I'd like to apologize in advance for these photos sucking. The condensation in the tunnel kept fogging up my lens and I kept forgetting to wipe it off. It happens.
Along for the tunnel fun with me this time were Cambria, ClimbingDoug, and Clahhhkie. The four of us don't get out together enough, so the times we do are some of my favorite exploring trips. I also shot some video, which I'll post after some shitty editing. Until then, enjoy.
