It brings me great pleasure to finally be able to bring more than just exteriors of this location to an Abandoned Dreams site. For over six years now this old train station, built by the New York/New Haven/Hartford railroads in 1915, has managed to keep me and many of my fellow explorers out. Finally, we managed to get inside and it was well worth the wait. This location was used by about 70,000 people per month in the late 1940s, until 1959 when the station was closed. In the 80's, a flea market was run out of the building, but only for a short time before that too closed it's doors. The building was never opened to the public again.
